For most people Christmas is a time to look forward to spending with family members, making a Christmas Dinner and opening gifts. For our clients Christmas is a very stressful time. Often these families struggle just to put food on the table each month. For Christmas they want to make a turkey dinner for their families to enjoy and of course they want to be able to give their children presents. This is not possible for these families as the funds are just not available.

Each year the Children's Christmas Fund and the Agape Centre prepare for Community Christmas. Through this program we are able to offer Christmas Baskets to families in need for Christmas. Also, we provide 1 gift for all of the children from newborn to age 16.

Hours of Operation The Christmas Baskets are distributed each year at the Cornwall Armories.

How You Can Help
The Christmas season is a very busy time for the volunteers and the staff. You can help by donating your time at the Agape Centre, with many of our fundraisers or help with the preparation or distribution of the Christmas Baskets. You can sponsor a special family or have an Angel Tree at your work

Donations
Throughout the holidays our numbers increase as the clients are trying to make it through the very expensive holiday season. Donations of food, money, and toys can be made at the Agape Centre. We are located at 40 Fifth Street West, Cornwall, Ontario K6J 2T4 or you can contact us at (613) 938-9297 for a free pick -up.
