Everyday our phone is ringing as people are calling because they are in need of help. We have families that are working very hard and are on a very tight budget. Many families are working for minimum wage and have no benefits, so when their young child suddenly becomes ill, and they have to purchase medication, they have upset their very tight budget. Unfortunately, this is a reality for many families.

You Can Help
What many people do not realize is that any food donation can make a difference. Every individual, group, school, organization, or business can make difference in someone else's life. It is simple; if you are out grocery shopping and you see something that is on sale pick up a couple of extra packages. Perhaps you want to raise your child's awareness of the community and how poverty is a real issue that does exist. Call her teacher, call your family members and friends. Start a food drive. It is easy and fun.

Donations
You have collected food items and would like to donate them to the Agape Centre? It is easy. You can go to Metro and Justin's No Frills Grocery Stores in our area and drop your non-perishable food items in our food donation bins located by the cashiers. You can also bring in your food at to Agape Centre at 40 Fifth Street West. Or give us a call and our drivers will be happy to pick up items from your home, business, organization or school.
