What food items are most needed in the Food Bank?
Our Staple or "critical items" are: Canned vegetables, pasta, soup, Macaroni and brown beans, cereal, and pasta sauce.

What kind of donations does the Agape Centre accept for the Thrift Shoppe?
The Agape Centre takes most items, used clothing, bedding, blankets, pots & pans, furniture, books, children's toys, and most household items.

Is there anything that we do not take?
Yes, unfortunately because of the injury risk to our volunteers and driver we cannot accept appliances, hide-a- beds, and water beds.

Are we a registered charity?
Yes, our charitable registration number is R 13152 1163 RR0001

Are we a member of the Ontario Association of Food Banks?
Yes, we are members of the Ontario Association of Food Banks as well as the Canadian association of Food Banks to ensure that we meet with appropriate standards.

What types of volunteers do you need and how can I register?
We need hard-working and friendly volunteers that will be willing to work with other volunteers and the public on a regular basis. You can register to be a volunteer at the Agape Centre or you can print an application form from this site.

How can I donate?
You can make any donations personally at the reception desk at the Agape Centre or you can mail your donation to the Agape Centre.
